140 Participants Unite Setting a New Record, Igniting Inspiration for Occupational Safety and Health in Conjunction with Malaysia Day

Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Conference (MOSH-CON) has brought together 140 dedicated participants on 12 and 13 September 2023 to set a new record of “Malaysia’s Largest Gathering of Safety & Health Professionals and Practitioners Wearing Safety Helmets and Vests”.
The record-setting was in conjunction with Malaysia Day on 16 September 2023, hence showing the spirit of a Malaysian who in the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) related field.
The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as experts, professionals, and enthusiasts converged for an extraordinary purpose—setting a new record. The two-day conference that happened at Dewan Orkid PKPS, Shah Alam was filled with eagerness from the participants as they received the vest and safety helmet first thing in the morning.
The Participants
MOSH-CON attracted an array of participants, each with their unique expertise and experiences in the realm of OSH. Everyone in the hall only had two things in mind— gaining knowledge and setting a new record with the Jalur Gemilang Book of Records.
The Record Attempt
The heart of MOSH-CON was the record-setting attempt of “Malaysia’s Largest Gathering of Safety and Health Professionals and Practitioners Wearing Safety Helmets and Vests.” The participant also sang ‘Jalur Gemilang’ while swaying the flag in the air with gearing-up the safety helmets and vest. The record-setting was abeing witnessed by YBhg Tn. Bahrudin bin Mamat, Deputy Director General of Safety DOSH Malaysia.
The Vibrant Build-Up
The excitement of the event was accentuated by the patriotic spirit of Malaysia Day, magnifying the sense of purpose and unity. And then, it happened. In a remarkable display of unity and expertise, participants has successfully made a new record. This record-setting moment symbolized not only the dedication to OSH but also the strength of Malaysia’s unity and progress.
As the day progressed, everyone left the hall with a smile on their face knowing they are a National Record Holder. It was a historic moment that resonated with the ideals of unity, progress and a safer future for both employer and employee.
